“Have the attitude and commitment of an ENVP.”

My Arbonne journey began in May of 2005, when I was asked by a good friend to join her for an Arbonne home Presentation. My last-minute decision to join her completely changed the course of my life and my family’s life. That evening, I purchased the entire NutriMinC® RE9® anti-aging skin care set and signed up to purchase the products at a discount. I received my products and fell in love with the skin care almost immediately. Not only had my husband began noticing a difference in my skin, but a couple of friends commented. In the meantime, I started to read through the materials I received when I signed up as a Consultant. I specifically remember reading the Eye on Arbonne stories. I thought, “Oh, probably one in millions who work hard at this business get to write a story like this.” Then, I noticed all the stories I was reading were from the same month, which meant that a number of people were still making it to the RVP level every single month, even though the company had been in existence in the U.S. for 25 years. With that in mind, August 2005 marked the beginning of my own Arbonne business. Now here I am, 11 months later, writing my own Eye on Arbonne story!

I was not looking for another business, since my husband and I had just started a family business, and I was heading into my last season of being a professional figure skating coach. I decided I no longer wanted to commit to the schedule I had been keeping, because our daughters were starting to get involved in their own activities and I wanted to be available to support them. I wanted to continue contributing to our family’s finances, but I did not know how to have the best of both worlds. Then, along came Arbonne. What an incredible ride this has been and it is only the beginning. We have the potential to be financially free to live life the way we choose!

This business encourages you to step out of your comfort zone and will help you to become a better person. From the moment you start an Arbonne business, you must have the same attitude and commitment you will have as an ENVP. Start with that attitude and it is exactly what you will accomplish. If you only see yourself as a Consultant, that is all you will become. Are you interested in Arbonne or committed to Arbonne? Ask yourself this because without commitment, there can be no success. What if it does not work? More importantly, what if you truly commit yourself to it and it does? It is working for many others, so why not allow it to work for you, too?

I could not have done this without the help and support of my upline. To my sponsor and good friend, ERVP Tobi Schutz: Thank you for always keeping me on track and having the leadership skills that pushed me to be better. You are the true definition of commitment and you have led your team by example. To ERVP Heather Hiemstra, NVP Karen Skeels and ENVP Sonya Shields: All three of you have played a very significant role in my Arbonne business and you have all brought different things to the table for your SuccessLines. I appreciate your dedication to making this business happen for you, but also for being available to those of us who needed your guidance to create our own success.

To EAM Carly Struik: I am so proud of everything you have done with your Arbonne business. The personal growth you have experienced brings me to tears and I know RVP is just around the corner for you. You are so respected by all who have joined your team and they are blessed to have you leading them to the top. To AM Maureen Tash: You have taught me so much and you have become such a great friend. Your business sense, hard work and dedication are second to none. You are an amazing leader, and I appreciate you and the amazing team you are building.

To DMs, Lisa Hayes, Debra Enders, Morgan Rockney and Monika Langer: You are stepping out of your comfort zones daily. I cannot wait to hand you the keys to your own Mercedes-Benz. Work hard and keep believing in yourselves, and you will get everything you want and deserve. Dream big! To future DMs, Tessa Spencer, Joan Van der Veen, Sandra Smith and Alisha Prandle: I love and appreciate you for seizing this amazing opportunity. You can find, and you deserve, success. Never forget your Why for joining this business; it is the most powerful ingredient. Make no excuses and give yourself no option but to make this work. To all other AMs, DMs and Consultants who make up this amazing Region: You have all made a significant difference in our success and I appreciate every single one of you.

To my family, friends and Clients: Thanks for continually purchasing Arbonne products from me and for being patient while I worked my Arbonne business. A special thanks goes to the nanas: You have both helped out so much with babysitting, and your extra help has not gone unnoticed!

To my husband, Doug: You have supported me from the moment I started this, even though you were so busy working our family business. You would rush home just in time for me to race off to an Arbonne meeting or Presentation. I remember how often, after a long day, you would just simply say the words, “I am really proud of you.” Those six words have meant more to me than anything else. I love you more than I could ever express in words. Without you and your support, I would not be an RVP.

To my two biggest blessings, Mila and Makenna: I love you girls more than anything else on this planet and you are my biggest Why for succeeding at my Arbonne business. I want you to grow up in a home where we give plenty, without ever needing to receive. Because of the flexibility my Arbonne business gives me, I will be able to pick you up from school when you are sick and I will be waiting for you at home when you get off the bus. There is nothing better than that!

When I started my Arbonne business, I thought I was doing it to have the potential for financial freedom. I now realize I am doing it for so many other reasons. I believe we are meant to help and share our fortunes with others and that life’s possessions are not ours anyway. Without my faith, none of this would be possible. I want to thank God for blessing me with this amazing life. With Him in our hearts, all things are possible.
