SUCCESS STRATEGY:

“Believe in the beauty of your dreams and the future will belong to you.”

To think that just a year and a half ago during a rodeo in Canada, I was showing my first Ace, NVP-in-qualification Becky Young, Arbonne product out of the back of my SUV. In less than 19 months of doing my Arbonne business, I have been able to help change so many people’s lives. However, I would not be here without the support of such an amazing organization and its leaders.

When I decided to join Arbonne, my husband thought it was for the potential extra money (as I tend to be a little “high maintenance”). I loved the products, but I could not get the white Mercedes-Benz off of my mind. In the beginning, my Why was all about the car. As I began my Arbonne journey, my Why evolved into something more significant than a Mercedes-Benz. I started to realize that the Arbonne opportunity is not just about the car, it is about changing the lives of others and building lifelong relationships with people who you may not even know yet. It is also about giving people hope for the future and helping them believe in themselves. In our world today, we are stripped of our dreams because of the constant demands of day-to-day living. But Arbonne gives us the gift to dream again, and make our dreams become a reality.

When I started my business in Canada, I planted hundreds of seeds. I knew the potential this country had, as Arbonne had not yet promoted a Canadian VP. It was hard to believe that it could actually happen, but I believed I could do it. I became extremely passionate about the Arbonne opportunity and told everyone I could about it.

Six months into the business, my first Ace, NVP-in-qualification Becky Young, joined my team. We have come a long way together through numerous trials and tribulations. I am so proud to have her as a part of my team. I love being able to cry and disagree with her nearby for support. I am also proud to have given her the gift of Arbonne so she will be able to stay home with her firstborn child. It took me six months to find my first Ace, so if anyone is having trouble finding business builders right away, please do not get discouraged. Just remember to plant the seeds of Arbonne and true business partners will grow. Remember, when you plant the seeds of Arbonne, you must water them with little bits of information. Do not over-water your seedlings because they will drown in the sheer information overload that this opportunity presents.

A year later, in May 2005, another seed grew. New RVP Michelle Auclair became a business builder and — in no time at all — has built a magnificent team. She is an ENVP in the making. Michelle: I am so proud of you for growing your business so quickly. You deserve everything in the world and I knew you would have driven your white Mercedes-Benz before Christmas! Mercedes (my daughter) and Macy (Michelle’s daughter) will have all kinds of fun and hopefully stay trouble-free in their future years. You have become an amazing leader in such a short period
of time.

To my friend, NVP-in-qualification Tammy Braithwaite: Times have been tough, but I know you all will make it to the top, no matter what. You are an ideal example to anyone who says they are too busy for Arbonne. With four active kids that are involved in any and every sport, you still managed to make your business a success. I am so proud of you for taking control of your business and becoming a leader.

To my sisters, AM Kasey Slavonic and DM Jamey Helms: I am so excited you have both decided to take the Arbonne journey with me. I promise, you will love this company as much as I do. I cannot wait until the whole family is driving a white Mercedes-Benz.

To my number one supporter, my mom: Do you remember when you said you wanted to drive a convertible sports car? You now have that chance with Arbonne. I am proud to say, my mom has now joined my Arbonne business. I cannot wait until I hand you the keys to your own car. You really did not have a choice but to change your life with Arbonne. Your girls only want the best for you and Arbonne is the best. I am happy to report that our mom, Sandy Dean, is now in qualification for DM.

To new RVP Karen Skeels: I am very proud of you. You are an amazing leader and person. Everyone sees the passion you have for Arbonne and your ability to project that passion to everyone around you. If it were not for you, I would not have any pictures to put into this Eye on Arbonne story. Thanks for setting a great example for your team.

To my friend, ENVP Erin Krogstad: I would not have an Arbonne business if it were not for you. I love you and I am so proud we were able to share this experience together. We went through a lot together in the beginning. During the times I wanted to quit, your encouragement and leadership kept me going and pulled me through.

To my dearest friend, AM Marci Laye: After a year and a half of watering a very stubborn seed, I am glad to be able to include you in this story. And, I am proud of you for taking the initiative to have the potential for financial freedom. You work hard and deserve all you get from Arbonne. You are on your way to the top. You will be there in no time.

To my friend and sponsor, ERVP Fraya White: Thank you for always being there for me. You are going to be an amazing mom. I cannot wait until we can go on vacation because of the potential freedom that Arbonne provides. We have grown together along the way. You have helped me organize meetings and train new Consultants. Thank you for being there for me.

To one of my longtime friends, DM Heidi Massey: I know times have been tough. It is only going to make your Eye on Arbonne success story more relatable to everyone. I know you are an ENVP in the making and you will get there. I truly believe that. I am proud of you for always sticking with it and never giving up.

To my cousin, DM Santanna Shields: I am proud of you for staying with Arbonne and I know you will succeed “no matter what.” We will be reading your Eye on Arbonne success story in no time at all.

To my three new business partners and DMs-in-qualification, Patty Shaw, Silvia Andrews and Stephanie Kautz: You have just begun. You can trust that you made the right decision in choosing to join Arbonne. It is going to be an amazing journey. I know all of you are going to go to the top in no time at all.

To my dear husband, Davey: If it were not for you, I do not know where I would be. I want to thank you for being there for me and being able to be home to help take care of our daughter. I feel so privileged to be able to potentially help you, not only financially, but personally too. I know we will be able to retire together in style, as everyone knows we are both a little “high maintenance.” Arbonne has provided us with the potential to achieve a great retirement plan. I love you with all of my heart. To my little “angel,” and daughter, Mercedes: You are such an amazing person. I am so excited to be able to give you an empire when you grow up. I love you to the moon and back. And because of my choices, I will be able to give you the world.

I dreamed that I could go to the top, but did not realize that it would actually happen. For anyone trying to decide whether Arbonne is right for you, my advice is to just do it. You have nothing to lose. Not only will you change your life, but the lives of so many others. I am so blessed to have been given such an amazing gift and to be able to pass it on. With Arbonne, I have been able to make so many things possible for my family and friends. I do not know where I would be if it were not for this opportunity. In growing my business, I have also grown tremendously as a person. And, I have built amazing, lifelong friendships in the last 19 months.

I am excited to have the ability to do more in life and help those who are less fortunate. As the saying goes, “Nothing worthwhile ever comes easy.” Things are never too good to be true, it only depends on if you want them bad enough.

Last, but certainly not least, I want to thank my entire team. If it were not for every one of you, I would not be writing my Eye on Arbonne success story. I will be honored when I am able to promote each and every one of you because you all deserve it. This level of management has nothing to do with what I do personally. It is truly a team effort. We are making our mark in Canada and we have only just begun.
