SUCCESS STRATEGY:

Wow — what an amazing journey. I grew up in Oklahoma and now live in Alberta, Canada, with my husband of eight years, Davey. We met in college, both had rodeo scholarships and eventually graduated with a marketing degree. Today, we have a 2-year-old daughter, Mercedes.

When I moved to Canada, I started getting dry skin and tried many different products. Nothing worked until I tried Arbonne while visiting Oklahoma in March 2004. The dryness in my skin diminished just three days after I began using the NutriMinC® RE9® skin care line. That is when my Arbonne journey began.

Achieving this success has not been entirely easy, but it has been fairly simple. There have been times I wanted to throw in the towel. However, thanks to my friend, ERVP Erin Krogstad, and a cell phone, I did not give up.

If it was not for you, Erin, I would not be where I am today. You were on the other end of that cell phone coaching me and telling me I did not have the option to quit this business. You also made me want more for my family. I love you dearly.

I never understood why God moved me so far away from my family and now I know why. Arbonne is a gift that was given to me and now I am able to give that gift to those wanting to make their dreams a reality.

I am grateful every day for the Arbonne opportunity and I cannot stress enough how important it is to set goals and write them down — my dreams became a reality when I did that.

A special thanks goes to RVP Fraya White: I want to thank you for coming all the way up to Canada to help me start my monthly Presentations. Without you, we probably would not have had meetings. Thanks for your patience.

My business partners make fun of me when I make them replace the word “try” with “I will.” That exercise led me to my first business partner, RVP-in-qualification Becky Young.

Becky, I do not know where to begin. You have become one of my best friends and you are taking Arbonne by storm. Thank you for joining my team. I cannot wait until we are sitting on the beach in Tahiti while our kids are being tutored. Thank you for everything you have done, and for building an amazing team.

I want to thank my best friend, DM Heidi Redinger. I am so excited to be working with you and building our future together. You will be home with your children before you know it. You are an awesome leader, never forget that.

Thank you to new AM, Tammy Braithwaite: You are doing amazing things with your business. I am so proud of what you have accomplished in such a short time. You have helped me realize there is no such thing as being “too busy to do Arbonne” because you have four children and are a hockey mom.

To AM-in-qualification Clair McCurdy: I am so proud of you for building your business so strong and quickly. Keep up the good work!

To DM Santanna Shields: You are doing such an awesome job with your business. I am so lucky to have you as a business partner.

To my sister, DM Kasey Slavonic: If it were not for you, I would not be writing this story. Thank you for bringing Arbonne to my attention. I am thankful for your decision to be my business partner. You are doing amazing things for your business and making your dreams a reality. You do not even realize how proud I am of you. I love you. Keep up the good work! I cannot wait until I see two white Mercedes-Benzes in the driveway.

I want to personally thank my entire Region. This would not be possible if it was not for my awesome business partners. This includes my entire Region. I will promote each and every one of you.

I want to give a special thank you to my mom: If it were not for you instilling the values of succeeding in anything I do, I would not be the person I am today. Thanks for always being there for me. I love you with all of my heart. A special thanks goes out to my stepdad for helping me with the loan I needed to start my Arbonne business. I also want to thank my “Mimmie;” my aunts, Christi and Kathy; and my sisters, Jamey and Jacy, for ordering product when I needed volume.

I want to thank my dearest friend, Thad Valentine, for ordering product when I desperately needed the volume, even though he had enough products to supply himself for a good year. Thanks for all of your help. And thank you to my dad as well, for everything you have done. And to my hostesses, Clients and Consultants who purchase product at a discount: If it was not for you, I would not have a business.

I want to thank my dearest husband, Davey, for putting up with me on the last days of the month and for always being there for me. You have been my lifeline. I love you so much and cannot wait until I am an NVP and you are driving your new car. Thanks for everything you do for our family. I hope I have helped take the pressure off of you supporting our family because you know how much I like to shop.

To my daughter, Mercedes: You are the reason I am doing this business. You have been a part of my business from the word “go.” You go to parties with me two hours away and when we pull up to the hostess’ house, you always ask, “What’s this girl’s name, mom?” I love you for being such a great sport by handing out products and putting lotion on Clients’ feet while they are listening to my Presentation. I promise, when you are 16, you will be driving your own Mercedes-Benz. I love you so very much.

My motto has always been, “Live for today because we are never promised tomorrow.” So, if you are still on the fence about Arbonne, what is stopping you?
