I was introduced to Arbonne in March 2005 by NVP Karen Skeels when my twin sister, Jeanine, hosted an Arbonne Presentation for her. I had tried a skin care sample prior to the Presentation, and was impressed by the results. So, when I signed up, I purchased a NutriMinC® RE9® skin care set immediately. However, I had no intentions of doing the business.

Over the following four months, Karen called me on a regular basis to see if I was interested in doing the business. At first, I told her that I was not interested at all because I did not want to be a salesperson. Despite my reluctance, I stood on the sidelines, watching Karen build a successful Arbonne business, and began to understand how I, too, could be successful in this network marketing business. At the time, I had recently quit my job of three years at a financial institution to stay home and help my husband, Murray, on the family ranch while working out of my home as a licensed hairstylist. I have always enjoyed spending time with my family, riding horses, competing in rodeos and working on the ranch. This is when my Why for doing Arbonne became clear to me. I could never picture myself working a 9-to-5 job for the rest of my life. After seeing what Arbonne had to offer with being able to work from home and be your own boss, I realized that this would be a great opportunity for me. Karen’s example was an inspiration and I will forever be grateful that she thought enough about me to share this wonderful opportunity.

I went from being an Arbonne Independent Consultant who purchased product at a discount to an active business builder in August 2005. I was very fortunate that my Arbonne business took off right from the start when my twin sister, Jeanine, decided to do the business with me. Soon after, my friend and Murray’s aunt, Inez Bishop, joined as well. Then, in the same month, another friend, Deana Lyle, signed on as a business builder. They all saw what a huge opportunity this could be, as Arbonne was relatively new to Canada.

Arbonne has changed both my life and my husband, Murray’s life for the better. I was excited to share this opportunity with my family because I grew up in a farming family of six children — five girls and one boy. I have an older sister, Laura, my identical twin sister, Jeanine, another pair of identical twin sisters, Melissa and Marika, and a brother, Brett. My mom, Byrne, and dad, Clark, raised us to work hard and to be successful. I am so happy to say that all six of the women in our family are involved in my Arbonne business.

I want to thank everyone on my team and anyone else who has helped me achieve my success and happiness in one way or another. I would not be an RVP today without all of them.

To my sister, Jeanine Huston: You have worked so hard at this and deserve to be driving your Mercedes-Benz. Thank you for all your help and for the good times we had building this business together. To my mom: Thank you for everything over the years. You and dad always made sure we were very active, and those qualities have truly benefited my Arbonne business.

To my other sisters, Laura, Marika and Melissa: I am glad you are great supporters and know that you can go to the top too. Thank you so much for all the good times we have spent together throughout the years.

To my Ace, RVP Deana Lyle: You are an amazing person and I do not know where you get your energy. Congratulations on becoming an RVP! You are a great friend and team leader. I am so fortunate to have you on my team.

To Melissa Theissen: I knew from the day you decided to do this business that you would succeed. You are a very determined and hardworking person. I am so grateful that you are a part of this team.

To Lori Sullivan: Thank you for all your contribution. You have grown a great team and I know that you are on your way to becoming an NVP.

To Inez Bishop: You are the queen of product knowledge. I cannot begin to express how glad I am that you have decided to do this business. You have worked extremely hard at this and I know that it has not always been easy. I will be so proud to give you your keys to your Mercedes-Benz one day soon!

To Chris Groves: You are doing all the right things and your business is coming along nicely. I really want this to work for you, and I know it will!

To Charlene Wrona and Tammy Francis: You are two amazing people. Thank you for your efforts. Charlene, your outgoing and organized personality will take you far in this business. Tammy, you have shared Arbonne with so many people. Your team has had amazing growth. I look forward to seeing you both at the top!

To a great friend, Shereen Cameron: I am thrilled that we are able to spend time together building our businesses. You amazed me when you went District in one month and Area two months later. I will not be surprised at all to see you at NVP very soon!

To all our new business builders: This is a great business to be a part of. You have made a smart choice!

To ENVP Sonya Shields: I would like to thank you personally for bringing us this incredible gift. I know it was not easy for you to pave the way but I am so glad that you caught the vision and pursued it. We all would not be experiencing such great happiness and success if it were not for your dedication.
