“Fill your mind with so much positive that there is no room for fear, negativity or self-doubt!”

Colleen Petersen of Mississauga, Ontario, had taken note of Arbonne over the years. Finally, she had seen too much to hesitate any longer. She jumped in and decided to succeed!

I've been a flight attendant for 31 years. I have enjoyed my career, but the industry has been turbulent and left me on shaky ground. With that instability, my paycheck plummeted, along with that of my husband, who is also a flight attendant. We continually needed to adjust our lifestyle to fit!

I needed something more — a guaranteed security, a greater purpose. I snipped an article out of the Toronto newspaper about a lawyer who quit her practice in the pursuit of more time and money. Her business of choice? Arbonne. I saved that article for two years! Later, someone gave me an Arbonne sample, then I saw samples being given out on a Toronto talk show. I started to get the message! After my niece, Natalie, informed me that she was in the business, Arbonne had my attention.

Arbonne speaks to a health-conscious individual who puts wellness, protection of the environment and vegan-certified products at the forefront. That was me! The premium-quality Swiss heritage products appealed to me. I tried the RE9™ sample and loved it. Quality was within my grasp — a quality product that would give a business great credibility. This I could believe in! This I could share! I would simply re-direct my spending to a more pure, safe and beneficial product and teach others to do the same.

My fear was huge, but I had a clear vision of the opportunity. I knew I would be successful. I made my desire for success bigger than my fear and went for it.

I was able to attend GTC Las Vegas a month after starting. My fear was challenged with the inspiration and success of the people in Arbonne. These people were problem solvers, motivated, positive, world-class thinkers, supportive, loving and owned their own lives! I was literally overwhelmed by the integrity and culture of the company. I had preconceived notions about network marketing, and in general, I'm not easily impressed. This totally changed my mindset.

My great friend, Susan O'Connor, jumped in with me. We had so much fun! I couldn't wait to phone her the second I landed from a flight to find out how our businesses were doing. Passion and purpose were back in my life in a big way.

In 19 months, I reached the level of Regional Vice President. The date was July 31 ... my gold-medal moment. I would like to say that it was my hard work, goal setting and sacrifices that enabled me to succeed, but quite frankly I couldn't have done it without my family and my team members, who inspired me to move forward and believe in myself.

To my sponsor and wonderful niece, ERVP Natalie Comeau: I've always wanted to spend more time with you ... yet another benefit of the Arbonne business. Your hard work and personal growth have been an inspiration to all! How loved you are by your team!

EAM Susan O'Connor, thank you for taking the leap of faith with me. I'm keeping my promise — we're going to the top together. You've made this business seem more like a vacation. I've loved all our trips together: Vegas, Atlantis, Calgary and Ottawa! Final destination: Maui!

EAM Karen Waller, even though you take your business very seriously, you have taught us not to take ourselves too seriously and that laughter is right up there with QV! I value your friendship and love your ability to turn lemons into lemonade (or protein powder into turtles)! Your zest for life inspires me!
