“Trust your upline to lead you to the top and be extraordinary.”

I cannot wait to see what the next five years has in store for my family, my team and my Arbonne business. My team and I became a Region November 1, 2007. We finished on October 27, 2007 — three whole days early. Indeed, I am blessed to have the most amazing team working with me to make it to the top!

In June 2005, my sponsor, Executive Regional Vice President Heather Hiemstra, brought me a NutriMinC® RE9® sample. I was not keen on trying it; I was skeptical. I let that RE9 sample sit on my bathroom counter for three months. If I knew then what I know now, I certainly would have jumped in a whole lot sooner. I had extra dry itchy skin on my forehead and I always thought I would have to deal with it, as nothing ever worked. The very dry weather in Alberta, Canada often caused it to get worse. When I finally gave the products a try I couldn’t believe the results. I used the products again the next day and my skin looked awesome; better than it had in years. I received many compliments that day on my skin from complete strangers. I was sold!

In the beginning I just wanted the products — or so I thought! I raved about the Arbonne products to everyone I knew, I was already doing the business without realizing it. My sister, Loreen Fields, is one of the people I was excited to tell about Arbonne. After she heard the Arbonne opportunity, she told me she was going to earn a Mercedes-Benz through Arbonne’s Mercedes-Benz Cash Bonus Program, and I said, “Not without me you’re not!” You see, I used to believe that I would never drive a car of this caliber, simply because my family would never, in our lifetime, be able to afford one. I also did not believe I would ever get paid any real money from Arbonne, I thought it was a pipe dream to get paid the kind of money I was hearing about. Yet when I received my first paycheck — which was not very much — I thought, “Maybe there is something here.” It was the fact that I got a paycheck that made the difference; I slowly started to believe and to have hope that this could really change our lives. My Arbonne journey had begun.

I remember telling Heather that I would give her one year of my life and that if I did not earn the Mercedes-Benz by then, I do not want to hear any more about Arbonne. My journey did not quite go how I had planned. It took two years — not one — to reach this point. But I hated the “J.O.B” (Just Over Broke) I was in for the past 10 years. I had thought I would never have a way out of living from paycheck to paycheck, or fighting for holiday time off with my family and the negativity of the people I was working with was getting the best of me. With the Arbonne opportunity, I made the choice to build my belief and to grow and develop on a very personal level. My Why became stronger, and it did not matter anymore how long it took as long as we got there.

I wish I could say I never looked back. I did! I hit some obstacles along the way that challenged me on so many levels and made me want to quit many times. My team and I hung in there, we persevered and we did it! I am so glad we did. We struggled through, we worked through the adversity and we used the opportunity to grow and build our belief. Persevering through the tough times makes earning this so much more worthwhile. The Mercedes-Benz is a symbol of the hard work, dedication, perseverance and belief of a whole remarkable team. I learned along the way to enjoy the journey. This business has taught me lessons of love and forgiveness, it has taught me to be kinder, to be more giving and more generous, and to have more fun in life; it has taught me that no matter what the greatest thing you can do for people is love them.

Whatever you believe is the truth! If you believe you can do this you can Arbonne takes focus and consistent effort. Be willing to work really hard in the beginning for a little bit of money so that one day soon you will be able to work a little, for a lot of money. Like President Rita Davenport says, “Go make some gangsta money!”

I have so many beautiful, remarkable, incredible, courageous, amazing, loving, caring, people who I have followed and who have followed me to leaving a legacy and I want to honor and thank you. I love you and cherish you all very much.

Keep building, encouraging your team and believing you will do this. You all have so much to give and I have learned so much from all of you. I am so blessed to have each of you as friends and teammates. You each have everything it takes to take your business to the top! Thank you for all you give to our team.

To my Mom and Dad, thank you for believing in me. Even though you did not quite believe this would be enough to provide for our family, you believed in me. That means so much. Thank you for instilling in me good values and teaching me that I can do anything. God bless you.

To my husband, Ian, thank you for your never-ending love. Thank you for all the nights you stayed organized to get the kids to every activity, have them fed and keep the house decent. Thank you for believing that I could do this. You believed in me when I did not believe in myself. You are my rock and my constant. Thank you for helping me to be the best me I can be. You are still and forever will be my very best friend — I love you more than air.

To my son, Bryton, you truly do “brighten” every corner where ever you are. You have been one of my best supporters right from the start. It may have been because I had the opportunity to earn a Mercedes-Benz. That’s okay; you believed I could earn it. Thank you. I pray for nothing but the best for you in your life and I cannot wait to see all your dreams come true. Thank you for being so incredibly awesome. I love you so much.

To my daughter, Havyn, you are my greatest fan. Thank you for being as incredible as you are. All the qualities most people work on, you already have. You always, always put others before yourself and you give so much. For someone your age, you are wise beyond your years. You are the best daughter any mother could ever ask for. I love you so much.

To my sisters, Molly Rose and Loreen Fields, thank you for being awesome cheerleaders all the way — you guys rock! Thank you for buying products and hosting Presentations. I love you both so much.

To my upline, ERVP Heather Hiemstra, NVP Karen Skeels, ENVP Tammy Braithwaite and ENVP Sonya Sheilds, Thank you for the legacy you have left. Thank you for your leadership, for your gigantic vision and for your gigantic hearts. You have all taught me so much and my life is much more blessed having you in it.
