SUCCESS STRATEGY:

“Knowing is not enough; you must take consistent action.”

When I was first introduced to Arbonne, I can honestly say I was not interested. I was a very busy mother of two. I was certainly not looking to start a home-based business, but with the cost of raising a family and the rising cost of living, I figured it would not be long before I might need to go back to work at the bank. I really wanted to have the choice though. I wanted to know I could go back to work if I wanted to, not because I had to! My husband, Tony, and I also wanted more choices available to us, such as where we could travel. Instead of only saving to fly across Canada to visit family, we also wanted to have the opportunity to see new countries and take warm, sunny vacations too!

To make our dreams for our family a reality, I knew I had to contribute more financially. Network marketing was the last thing I ever imagined myself doing. I was very skeptical because I was not familiar with the industry, and I thought I would just go back to my “real job”. That was until someone from Manitoba contacted me about this awesome business. At first, I was simply not interested, but after a while, I decided to look into it further and contacted an Arbonne Consultant in my community.

I met with EAM Susan Macklin and she shared the “Opportunity” Presentation with me. I was very intrigued to see a business approach that could truly fit into my busy family life! In fact, I was so excited I could not sleep that night! Now, I refer to that as the “Arbonne buzz!”

Believing in the business was one thing, but next I needed to know if I could believe in the products. That did not take long once I started using them. I took before and after pictures of my daughter’s hands covered in eczema and the results were amazing! This was the first time we were able to find a product to alleviate her skin concerns! We loved everything we tried. Thank goodness my curiosity got the better of me and I took the time to investigate all that Arbonne had to offer.

I set aside my fears and jumped in with both feet in May of 2006. I decided I could have the best of both worlds, staying home with my children and working part-time, flexible hours as my own boss. I stopped thinking, “What if this does not work?” and started thinking, “What if this does work?”

I hit the ground running, trusting in my upline to support me and teach me the ropes. I was able to earn as I was learning and soon found out that a positive attitude and strong belief are crucial. When you couple that with consistent effort and determination, your results can be amazing! I promoted to RVP in 11 months with a fabulous network of new teammates I now consider friends! It is so rewarding to have a hand in each person’s success and work together to achieve everyone’s goals.

This business can provide so much more than just the potential for financial and time freedom. The personal growth and development we all go through is incredible! I am accomplishing things I would not have imagined myself doing just one year ago. I have had to jump way out of my comfort zone and push myself, but with the support of my team, I have conquered some huge fears.

It is very empowering to understand that we have a gift to share with people, and how we can make such a positive impact in other’s lives!

To my awesome Region: I am so thankful to work with such an incredibly motivated team, blazing new trails in Canada! Thank you so much for your perseverance and consistent effort. We have an exciting future with Arbonne to look forward to!
