SUCCESS STRATEGY:

“Envision it, plan it, work toward it, and you will accomplish it!”

Cindy Meghory of Thornhill, Ontario, wanted more out of life. The passion and positive energy she witnessed at GTC inspired her to build a business and help others achieve their dreams.

My Arbonne journey began in January 2006 when my mother, Fran, passed away. Six weeks before that, my mother-in-law, Sarah, had also passed away. In less than two months, I'd lost two of the most significant women in my life. It's no surprise that when my dear friend and sponsor, Marlene Gardiner, invited me to a girls' weekend a few months later, I said yes.

As it happens, the “girls' weekend” was in St. Louis at Arbonne's annual conference. I'd been using the anti-aging skin care line for nine months and loved how it had transformed the appearance of my skin. We arrived at the conference, and I was awestruck by the 17,000 (mostly) women of all ages, all with glowing skin. I'd never seen such a large group of positive people in my life!

For the past 34 years, I've built a successful corporate career and was promoted to VP almost 20 years ago. While financially successful, I came to realize what was missing as I listened to the speakers at GTC. I craved something of my own — a place of positivity, a place where I could mentor others. I saw that Arbonne could be my way to create what I had been secretly craving.

While my journey to Region did not happen overnight, it did happen on purpose. In March 2011, I decided I was going to drive my son Michael to his wedding seven months later in my Mercedes-Benz. I envisioned it, planned it, worked toward it and then accomplished it.

The first step was to speak to my DMs to find out what their intentions were. Two of them, Tina Liegghio and Jennifer Rodrigues, decided they wanted to promote to AM within the same timeframe. Together, we set goals; they envisioned it, planned it, worked toward it and accomplished it in the summer of 2011.

Our teams were exploding with momentum and in October, we completed qualification for Region. On November 20, I drove Michael to his wedding in my stunning, diamond-white Mercedes-Benz!

I truly am the luckiest woman, and I am grateful to so many.

To my supportive family: I'm blessed to have such an encouraging group of women and men!

To my loyal clients and friends: I'm grateful to have the opportunity to serve you, and blessed to have made so many wonderful friends.

To my crossline sisters, Sharna, Cara and Katherine: I continue to learn so much from you!

To NVP Laura Harry: You exemplify enthusiasm and smarts. Thank you for being such an integral part of my Car Presentation.

Thank you to the amazing women and men at Arbonne Canada who continue to support our business — Helena, Jackie, Dave and your wonderful staff.

To my sponsor, Marlene: I'll be forever grateful that you invited me on that trip to St. Louis and introduced me to this infinite opportunity. To my NVP, Gosia Moore: Your tireless hours of coaching and brilliant insights are priceless! To my awe-inspiring ENVPs — Kathy Lutz, who always reminds me of the leader I am; Dana Collins, whose brilliance and sharing heart continues to inspire me; Deana Wilkinson, whose wisdom and support is immeasurable; Phoebe Fournier, who is always encouraging: I'll continue your tradition of forward-giving to my team so they, too, can achieve their goals and dreams.

To the magnificent women in my Region — AMs, Tina and Jennifer; DMs, Melanie, Luana, Nicole, Diane and Sarit; and Consultants, Ana, Angie, Dana, Dawne, Erica, Erin, Fil, Hindi, Jeanette, Joanne, Jocelyn, Kaelah, Kelly, Linda, Lisa, Marjorie, Maureen, Sabrina, Sandra, Tamara and Tanya: My biggest hope is that you now see that you, too, can reach the goals you've set for yourselves. Because of you, I'm a better person. I'm filled with gratitude and humility for your commitment and best of all, your friendship. We did this together and we have so much more to accomplish!

To my children, Michael, Matthew and my new daughter, Jessica: Your encouragement means the world to me. You can achieve all you dream of, and I encourage you to reach for the stars!

And finally, to my biggest cheerleader, the one who saw the possibilities before I did, who never complains when I'm out building my business, who gives me undying love and devotion — my husband of 34 years, Danny: Thank you. You are as much a part of this as I am.

Today, my life looks very different. I now work part time in the corporate world, and in 24 months, I will retire from my job. I'm envisioning my life as an NVP — planning it, working toward it, and accomplishing it.
