SUCCESS STRATEGY:

“Remember that success is a journey, not a destination.”

My journey with Arbonne began on November 11, 2006, when my very good friend Franca invited me to an Arbonne spa party. I had never heard of Arbonne, but her enthusiasm about the products got me excited.

I went to the spa party that night and tried the Arbonne Aromassentials Awaken Sea Salt Scrub, and I was amazed with the results. I listened to the Independent Consultant deliver the Presentation and I was immediately interested. I purchased the NutriMinC® RE9™ anti-aging skin care set that night and I remember running down the stairs the next morning, so excited with the results in my skin. At that time in my life, I was an adjudicator making a very good salary, pension and full benefits. I called my job the “golden handcuffs.” My husband and I had just built a brand-new home and I was on maternity leave with my beautiful six-month-old daughter, Alessia. I was in no position to be making any drastic changes in my life, either personally or professionally ... or so I thought. It was my good fortune that a week later ENVP Debbie Neal came to Canada. I had no idea who she was or what she had accomplished in such a short period of time, but I went to hear her deliver the Opportunity Presentation and I was blown away. She handed me a gift that night and thank God I opened it. I understood immediately that I could not pass up this opportunity of a lifetime.

At the time, there were no Vice Presidents in my area — no Arbonne Independent Consultants driving around in white Mercedes-Benzes. However, I was so excited about the Arbonne difference and the amazing opportunity that I jumped in with both feet and walked away from the security I had known for the past 10 years!

So many said it could not be done here in our nation's Capital. I did not accept this. I loved the Arbonne products and saw that the opportunity offered the potential for financial and personal freedom. I knew others would understand the power of this amazing gift. I had a vision for the future that was crystal clear, and I was not going to allow anyone or anything to stop me from achieving my goal. Six weeks later, I met an incredible man — one who is now one of my very best and dearest friends. Michel Brisson believed in me and jumped in, and as we like to say ... the rest is history!

On June 1, 2009, I became the first Regional Vice President in our nation's Capital. We put the first of many on the road to success. I have an incredible team of women and men who motivate and inspire me every day. I am so blessed and so grateful to be part of this amazing company. Arbonne and the extraordinary people I have met in the last two years have changed my life forever and I will spend the rest of my life paying this gift forward.

They say Arbonne is a personal development company disguised as a health and wellness company, and it is so true! The learning and growing that occurs is incredible. You can become the person you were meant to be. The best part of this business is that the more people you help to achieve their dreams, the more successful you become! How amazing is that?

The best advice I can give is to learn how to dance in the rain. What I mean by that is, be happy, be positive and be grateful no matter what. If you can master the skill of learning how to dance in the rain, you will become unstoppable and your success is guaranteed.

To ENVP Debbie Neal: Words cannot even begin to express how I feel about you. You became a permanent part of my life in June of 2008, and my life and my business have never been the same. I call Debbie “the bomb” because the room explodes when she walks in! Debbie, thank you so much for always believing in me. Thank you for your many trips to Canada. You are my leader, my mentor and, most importantly, my very dear friend. I am so grateful for all that you have done for me. I am honoured to be your first of many international Vice Presidents.

To my amazing crossline: You totally rock and I love you all.

To President Rita Davenport: Thank you for the motivational phone calls. You are a blessing to all of us. You are my inspiration. Thank you for being you.

To the Canada Home Office: Thank you for all you do. I appreciate all of you so much.

To my family — my husband, Kirk and my beautiful daughter, Alessia: Thank you for believing in me and supporting me, and for all the sacrifices you have made to help me achieve this goal. I promise I will take us all to Disneyland to celebrate. Yahoo!

To my mother, Area Manager Bianca Simourd: Mom, I started my business around the kitchen table at your house and look at what we have accomplished together! None of this would be possible without your love and support. You are the very best and I love you so much. I am so thankful to be sharing this incredible journey with you.

To my very first Independent Consultant, Executive Area Manager Michel Brisson: You are the kindest, most caring man I have ever known. Thank you for believing in Arbonne, thank you for believing in me and, most importantly, thank you for believing in yourself. To the very top, my friend!

To Area Managers, Pina Sicard, Rosa Pool, Chantal Gauthier, Loriana Savignano, Diana Pietrantonio and Dr. Manon Clavette: I am so proud of all of you. You are all incredible leaders. Thank you for all you do. I look forward to a lifetime of memories together.
