Jana Kennedy of White City, Saskatchewan, watched from the sidelines as her friend grew a successful Arbonne business. Finally, she decided that she was going to experience the same success. With determination and a streak of stubborn resolve, she did it!

One choice can change your life. It was December 2007 when I decided to start my Arbonne journey. Ten months later, I found myself in the seat of a white Mercedes-Benz, a newly promoted Regional Vice President.

I was not new to the product. In November of 2006, my friend and sponsor, Katharine Leier, gave me a sample of the NutriMinC® RE9™ anti-aging skin care line. I only wanted to hear about how to get the product — I had no interest in the business. As the year went on, I watched Katharine work her Arbonne business while continuing to be there for her family. I thought it was too good to be true. In October 2007, I called her and asked, “What's the secret with Arbonne?” She said, “No secret. If you know people that have hair and skin, you can do this business.” In December 2007, I jumped in. I thought that with my determination and stubbornness, I would be successful. I decided that with a no-matter-what attitude, I was going to earn that Mercedes-Benz.

I always knew I had a larger purpose in life. I had no idea it would be a home-based business called Arbonne. God truly does answer prayer — you just never know when He will put you in front of your gift.

Within two weeks, I found my first business builder. I caught on quick — the more I shared the product and opportunity, the more people I found who were looking for exactly what I had: amazing skin care and an opportunity to earn extra income. I loved helping others and truly felt this is what I was meant to do. It's so empowering to help others dream again, have the choice to work from home and live the best life possible. Selling lipstick is something I never thought I would do, but now I brag about it.

When you are proud of what you do and you are passionate, it's amazing how many people's lives you can inspire. Through the support of an amazing team, consistent activity, and a no-matter-what attitude, I am living a life most people only dream of.

To the most amazing team: You inspire me and push me out of my comfort zone. I couldn't have done this without you. You are all ENVPs-in-the-making. Remember this is your journey and your time. Thank you for working so hard to make your dreams a reality. You deserve huge success and I cannot wait to hand you the keys to your Mercedes-Benz.

To my sponsor and friend, ERVP Katharine Leier: I could never thank you enough for sharing this gift with me. I am so blessed that we became friends and business partners. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in me and knowing I could do this.

To ENVP Becky Young: Thank you for your vision. Your leadership is outstanding and I am proud to be part of your Nation. Without you, I really believe I would not be giving my family the life they deserve. Thank you for saying yes so you could impact and change so many people's lives.

To my two beautiful children: You are my Why. Mason and Max, thank you for showing me how to dream and see life through your eyes, where all the colors of the rainbow are so bright and every time you see one, it's like the first time. I'm so blessed to have you both, and every day I thank God for the privilege and honor of being your mom. My wish for you is to never stop dreaming, always laugh and never let what others think about you stop you from doing what you were meant to do. Shine brightly every day ... I love you.
