SUCCESS STRATEGY:

“See the end before you begin.”

See the end before you begin. When I began my Arbonne business, I knew exactly where I wanted to end up. I saw myself driving the white Mercedes-Benz, I saw the freedoms that it would allow for my family and me, and I knew that there would be a group of exceptional people joining me.

I was introduced to Arbonne by my sister-in-law, NVP Tiffany Haugrud, just over three years ago. Although I enjoyed the products, I did not think that the business was for me. While she was getting started with her Arbonne business, I decided to start my own business doing hair from my home.

Prior to this, I had been a hair stylist for five years. I loved doing hair and being with people but I wanted more freedom with my time and control over my income. My in-home salon was booming, and before I knew it I was earning great money, choosing my own hours and was no longer accepting new clients. All seemed to be going great!

I became pregnant, and worked right up until a week before my due date. Three weeks after welcoming our wonderful daughter Milan into the world, a birth that involved a cesarean section, I was back to doing hair. My family depended on my income, as well as my husband’s and if I was not working, then I was not making money.

Almost a year passed, and I began to see some great changes happening in Tiffany’s life, not just financially, but on a personal level as well. I decided to look into retailing the Arbonne products in my salon. Due to the great response I received from my clientele and excitement generating from friends and family I knew that I had to look into the Arbonne opportunity.

That was in April 2006. By May, I was a District Manager, and by October I became an Area Manager. With a strong team in full momentum I found that the paychecks I was receiving from Arbonne were matching those of my hair salon. By December 31st, I was able to stop doing hair and focus on my Arbonne business. Four months later, while attending our annual National Training Conference in Las Vegas, my team became a Region!

In the past year, I have learned that hard work does pay off. There were days that I would work for 12 hours in my salon and still go out in the evenings to do Presentations. I sacrificed a lot of my free time to make this happen. I also know that the ability to stay focused requires daily practice, know why you want to do this. I knew that Arbonne offered me things that doing hair did not, such as time leveraging, making money when I was not working and the ability to share the same freedoms with people that I cared about. Fill your mind with positive messages and surround yourself with people who encourage you to succeed.

Have passion for this business, and have fun! This past year has provided me with plenty of growth and I wish the same for all of you who choose to pursue this opportunity. Be thankful for all of the little successes along the way; great things come from being grateful. Learn from the challenges, when you are learning you are growing and remember to see the end before you begin, people are far more inclined to follow if they know where they are going.

I would like to thank my husband and best friend Mark. You knew that I could do this long before I even began. Thank you for believing in me and for all of your support, you are the best! I would also like to thank my daughter, Milan. You inspire me to be the best that I can be, thank you.

To my Area Managers Kim Mclelland and Shanda Dupras, I admire you both and look forward to a long friendship and many, many car presentations. Shanda, you are so kind and generous, I am so thankful that you decided to make this work. Kim, I have so much respect for you, and I appreciate your enthusiasm for life. It has been a privilege to work with you both.

To my District Managers, Brenda Sourisseau, Charlotte Lammerhirt, Kerilyn Pitaoulis, Sophie Hart, Kristy Goertz, Raven Benke, Monica Swagar, Christie Skimmings, Linda Helfrich, Jillian Cain, Kim Nicoll, Jessy Agnew, Susie McShannock, Rhonda Mitchell, Kelli Henderson, Letty Kauffman, Patricia Santa, Theresa Chopko, Rose Lowe, and Tanya Griffith, you are all so incredible! I consider you all my friends and I am proud to know all of you. You have made so much of this possible and I can’t wait to celebrate with all of you as you grow your businesses to where you want them to be.

To RVP Susan Carcamo, you have been a great leader. I have learned so much from you and continue to do so. Thank you for your guidance and patience, and for calming me.

To NVP Tiffany Haugrud, thank you for your persistence and for paving the way. I admire you for your strength and ability to follow your dreams. Your determination has made all of this possible for so many of us. Thank you; you are remarkable!

To my sister crosslines: Melanie Carpenter, thank you for our accountability chats, you are lovely to be around and to my cousin and Area Manager Katerina Perez, your strength has moved me forward on several occasions, thank you.

To my parents, you are all amazing! I have been so fortunate to have been given such an abundance of love and support, thank you for everything.

To my friends and family, thank you for all of your support, some of you joined me, some cheered me on, some hosted Presentations and almost all of you are using Arbonne in your home.

Thank you for all of it, I am fortunate to have so many wonderful people in my life.
