Have you ever wondered what it would be like to wake up whenever your eyes feel like opening, plan your entire day on your own terms, and to not be at the beck and call of a boss? Never in my wildest dreams did I think that at the age of 23, I would be able to do just that!

Arbonne may enter your life in the strangest of ways and, if you are like me, it may present itself several times before you even consider what it has to offer. When I first heard of Arbonne three years ago, I never thought anything of it. It was just a word—and one I thought I would never hear again. To my surprise, I heard the word Arbonne a short two months later.

The following six months consisted of my aunt trying to explain the business side of Arbonne to me. However, being in my third year of University and planning to become a pharmacist, I was completely uninterested. Another six months passed before I decided to join Arbonne, solely to shop at a discount and save on my own personal products. I assured my aunt that I would never do Arbonne, as I am not a salesperson, am far too busy and am terrified of public speaking!

Seven months later, December 2006, and I was a new District Manager. Before I knew it, July of 2007 rolled around; I was almost 22 years old but felt as though I had hit a crossroads in my life. I received four rejection letters from pharmacies and had just completed a 10-month hairstylist course. Not wanting to pursue either of the above, I decided to give Arbonne a try, after all I had nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Once I decided to jump in with both feet, I did just that. I reached Area Manager in two months and then took another thirteen to hit Region, both years going into qualification on my birthday! Looking back, this journey has taught me that everyone has the ability within them to be successful and accomplish their goals. I encourage everyone reading my EOA to genuinely listen to whoever introduced you to Arbonne, as the opportunity will change your life if you let it. It truly is a gift and one that is worth opening!

I also want people to know there is so much more beyond the “lipstick and lotion” of this company. This opportunity will give you the ability to change lives, to be a difference maker and to live the life you have only dreamt about. All this business takes is a decision, a commitment, a “no-matter-what” attitude and unwavering belief! If you have that, then you have everything it takes.

To my aunt and sponsor, EAM Susan Mouland, words cannot express how thankful I am to you for not giving up on me. There is no greater gift than the gift you gave me a short three years ago, and for that I will be forever grateful. I love you!

To my Dad, my number one supporter: You have always been there for me, no matter what I have decided to do, and have never doubted my abilities to succeed. You are supporting me and encouraging me to be all I can be and that means the world. I am so lucky to have a father like you! I love you, Dad!

To my uplines, ENVP Carol Egleston, ERVP Josanne Flemming and ERVP Jody Flemming: You are amazing women! Carol, your words of wisdom mean so much to me. I am proud to be a part of your Nation. To Josanne and Jody, if it wasn’t for the two of you guiding me and encouraging me to be all I can be, I would not be where I am today. You have been with me through it all, and I thank you both from the bottom of my heart. Love you!

To AM Jami Mann: You inspire me and make me want to be a better person! I love you and couldn’t imagine being on this journey without you. You are an amazing leader and your team continues to grow every day.

To AM Nicole Switzer: You are an incredible woman and a courageous leader! You have a natural ability with Arbonne and I see the fire inside of you. You are going to the top and bringing many along for the ride. I am so proud of you. Love you!
