I first learned about Arbonne three years ago when ERVP Valerie Darien came to me for advice.

She was thinking about starting her Arbonne business and she knew I was an independent consultant with another network marketing company at the time. To be honest, I was skeptical. Having an engineering background, as well as five years experience running my own business, I advised Val to do her due diligence before making any decisions. I knew a lot about home-based network marketing businesses and assumed that Arbonne was the same. In fact, I declined Val’s offer to try the products on many occasions. She persisted with gentle conviction, and of course I tried and fell in love with Arbonne’s wonderful products. Only then did I really listen to what Val was trying to share with me.

When I compared Arbonne with the product line and company I was with, four critical differences became clear to me:
The products were not only excellent, but consumable—that meant repeat sales from existing customers.
Arbonne’s online ordering, business management and training systems were very impressive.

The demographic maps showing the growth that was happening in the US and Canada blew me away. I recognized this as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I could not pass up.

Right away, I knew that Arbonne would help me achieve the independent success that I had spent the last five years working towards with another company. I not only gave Val the thumbs up. I grabbed the hand she was holding out to me and jumped in with her. It’s now been three years and I haven’t looked back.

The most important lesson I have learned on my journey is that you need to be coachable and open to personal growth. Once I started listening to the Arbonne Learn & Burn™ Audio CDs, my business began to flourish.

Now that I have achieved my goal of independent success, my new challenge is to help the members of my team do exactly the same thing. Achieving the dream for myself is one thing. Helping others achieve their dreams is monumental.

First, I would like to thank my wonderful husband, Joe. He has supported me on my very long search for my ‘passion’, always cheering me on from the sidelines. I could just hear him thinking, “What’s she doing now?” when I started my Arbonne business. But through it all, he was there to shuttle the kids to activities, do laundry and make meals, all while working his very demanding career.

My children, Bryanna and Brock, have been a huge part of my Why. I hope that they have learned to follow their dreams, because anything is possible if you just believe in yourself. Arbonne gives me the flexibility to build my life around my family, and decide when and where I work. I am in charge of my destiny!

I would like to honor every member of our Region—a team that has grown and developed over the last three years. It is your commitment, your dedication and your passion that inspires me every day. I am grateful to know and love each of you. I thank you for all your hard work.

To ERVP Valerie Darien, you are my mentor and friend. Thank you for setting such a wonderful example of leadership for all of us. I learn from you every day and get so excited when I think of what is in store for us in the future.

To AM Lori Andrews: I thank you for believing in me right from the beginning. You were the first person to join me in business. I will be forever thankful for your support and friendship. We were friends long before Arbonne and am so excited to be sharing this journey with you. I can visualize you in your white Mercedes-Benz right now!

To AM Sandra Messier: We have been through so much together. After joining me in my previous business, it was understandable for you to question why I was starting all over with Arbonne. But once you saw what I saw, there was no stopping you. Handing you the keys to your Mercedes-Benz will be one of the most memorable moments of my life!
