SUCCESS STRATEGY:

“It costs you nothing to dream, but everything if you don't.”

Susan Casement of Lethbridge, Alberta wanted more for her family. When she learned that others just like her were experiencing success by building a home-based business with Arbonne, she knew she could do it too ... and in just nine short months, she reached Regional Vice President!

What if I told you that it's okay to dream, because dreams do come true? But only if you believe. If you stay on the path you are on, do you truly feel that all of your dreams will come true? What if you just stuck with it for another five, 10, 20 years? Let me tell you what Arbonne has done for us in nine short months!

Prior to Arbonne, I had been working in my family's bridal salon. I loved my job and it allowed me the flexibility to work around my family's needs. I have been married for 11 years and have two amazing children. Hudson is three and Taylor is six. My husband, Cory, is a pilot and is away from home a lot. He changed airlines once we started our family, which meant a massive pay cut, and I decided not to return to my own airline career after my first maternity leave. This meant we had our “needs” met, but very few of our “wants.” Something needed to change, and I was ready to make that change. I was tired of living dollar-to-dollar — I wanted more for our family.

One night, my friend invited me to a “housewarming” party. When I arrived, ERVP Christina Thomas was there with all her Arbonne products on display. I had never used skin care and was a huge sceptic, but I didn't want to be rude. I thought I would humour her and hear her out, but Christina made me a believer. As she presented the products, I found myself strangely interested in skin care all of the sudden. After the Presentation, Christina asked if I'd ever thought of building a home-based business. I have to admit, I was ready to try anything to bring in a few extra bucks, but with two small children and a husband who was away a lot, I didn't feel I would have time. She told me that her friend, Kelly Greening-Thoburn's husband is a pilot and they have two small boys also. She also informed me that Kelly was at the top rank as an Arbonne National Vice President. Turns out Kelly's husband, Graham, and my husband go back 16 years to when my husband began his flying career. Graham was his first Captain! I decided right then that if Kelly could make this work, I could too.

I joined Arbonne that night and never looked back. I was determined to make this opportunity work. I told my husband that I hoped we could stop stressing about money, and I believed I could make that happen. Nine months after starting my Arbonne business, I promoted to RVP!

If a person decides, commits, is determined and believes they can be successful, then nothing can stop them. My favourite motto is, “If I can do it, so can you.” You decide how successful you want to be. I can show you how, but you have to want to do the work it takes to be successful. No, it's not a get-rich-quick scheme, and no one is going to beat down your door asking you to buy Arbonne! Sometimes it is hard picking up that phone, or leaving your family for the evening. Sometimes you feel like you keep hitting dead ends; that's when you plug into the wonderful tools Arbonne has created to help you get past those rough spots. You'll face challenges that you would have to face in any career in order to be successful. But if you really want to change your life, this could be your opportunity. I know it was ours. You decide.

With Arbonne, you have a team helping you overcome those obstacles every step of the way. I have never been involved with a company that celebrates and rewards your efforts as much as Arbonne does. It's so special to be part of a company that gets the fact that if you are successful, so are they. You are only as successful as your team is.

Speaking of teams, I would love to thank my husband, who never once questioned my belief in this business. I couldn't have done this without your love and understanding. I love you more than you will ever know.

To my amazing upline, ERVP Christina Thomas: You have been one of the most important people to enter my life. You guided and encouraged me at every level of this journey and I'm proud to call you a friend. I'm excited for what the future has in store for us as we continue to build our teams together. Thank you for challenging me.

To NVP Kelly Greening-Thoburn: Thank you for being you. Your love for your family shines through in everything you do. Thanks for all the laughs along the way. You make Arbonne fun.

To my Area Manager friends, Sherry Plourde, Phoebe Jagielski and Summer Seguin: I want to thank you ladies for being on this journey with me. You are all very special and I will always be here for you. Can't wait for you to earn the Mercedes-Benz!

To my District Manager friends: I'll see you at the top! And keep believing in yourself, even when others doubt you.

To my entire team: We did this together and I thank you for helping make us a Region. I wish you all the best on this journey.

To all of my Clients: Thank you for your support and continued business.
