SUCCESS STRATEGY:

“Know where you are going and watch the world step aside to let you through.”

Before Arbonne entered my life, I had been subconsciously seeking to own my time and spend it with those that I hold dear. What I would like to ask you is, “How does what you do for a living improve the quality of your life?” I made a good living before Arbonne, but was on the slow path to improving the quality in my life. I had a great full-time job with an airline that I had been with for seven years; but, I also had the desire to get out from under the paycheck-to-paycheck lifestyle. My husband, Ray, and I also owned a successful plumbing company where I did all of the bookkeeping. We thought being small business owners was the answer to creating the future we wanted. But instead of living more and working less, we were doing the complete opposite. I needed to change something I was doing to get a different result. That was when my friend, ERVP Michelle Auclair, offered me a gift called Arbonne. I did not realize at the time how trying botanically-based products was going to change my life, but the products gave me amazing results and piqued my curiosity about the Arbonne opportunity.

I got my business off the ground in May 2005 and moved up quickly to District Manager that same month, eventually promoting to Area Manager in July. I was fortunate to have my neighbor and friend, EAM Jane Lever, start her business shortly after I did. It has been wonderful to share the excitement and also some of the speed bumps with another person by my side.

In late summer, my friends and fellow “Westjetters,” Karie Stewart and Daneel Letwinetz, started their own Arbonne businesses, too! Our team continued to build during the winter months and in March 2006, we gained a momentum which proved unstoppable.

When Ray and I came home from re-newing our wedding vows in Las Vegas on March 31, I knew we could still finish first step qualification for Region if we took action. I left the suitcase at the door, got focused on our goal and we did it. Always work your business right until the last day of the month! It was such a natural high to see what we had accomplished. In April, I came home from NTC all energized and ready to move forward in my business when my computer hard drive crashed. It was the end of the month for our plumbing and Arbonne businesses and I had to re-do all the information for my tax return. Although frustrated, I resolved not to let life’s obstacles get in the way of our success. I practically moved in with AM Karie Stewart and EAM Jane Lever to support our team in the last days of April. It was during all of this turmoil that I realized how truly blessed I was to be part of a team that could achieve anything! I was being tested and learned the lesson of never giving up. I was rewarded with my promotion to RVP.

I had two full-time careers on the go when I pursued Arbonne. This just goes to show that you can never be too busy to embark on an Arbonne journey if you have the passion and desire to do more with your life. It is that simple. Stand up for what you believe in and do not allow negative people to deter you. Make wiser choices that allow you to achieve a different outcome in your life. Arbonne is an opportunity that draws out the potential in all of us. I have learned that the world steps aside for those who know where they are going. Be passionate and live with purpose!

I want to thank everyone on our team for all the dynamic qualities each of you have. I treasure you all and want each of you to remember: If you expect more, you will achieve more!

To DMs, Brenda Tilley, Carrie Eastman, Crystal Siudy , Dawn Girgis, Della Thompson, Donna Siler, Elaine Austin, Gaie Goin, Judith and Kathleen Leitch, Lorrie Payne, Marjorie Dimmick, Sarah Girard, Terri Drynan and Val Solila and AM Cheryl Wood: Keep the momentum going!

To EAM Jane Lever: Your determination will take you to the top! Thanks for sharing this journey with me. We will soon need a sign that says, “Mercedes-Benz Corner.”

To AM Karie Stewart: Your motto is to have fun and give to others. Now you are part of something that mirrors those beliefs, so dream big. This one is for the girls!

To AM Daneel Letwinetz: Your future is very bright, so pull out those shades! Thank you for trusting me. I know you are going all the way.

To my friend, RVP Corina Dixon: You added fuel to my fire when I needed it the most.

To ERVP Michelle Auclair: I am so grateful that you offered me the gift of Arbonne. I will see you at the top! We created our own definition of profit share.

To ENVP Sonya Shields: Thanks for planting so many seeds here in Canada. My first lesson from you was to write my goals down, which I did on a paper napkin! That served me well.

To all my Clients and Consultants who purchase products at the discount: You have all been instrumental in building my business. Thank you for your continued support.

To my mom; Baba and Gigi; mom and dad Bradley; my dad; my sisters-in-law, Cathy Simkins and Lynne Coroy; the Ya Ya’s, Kris and Jen, as well as to my extended family and friends: I send you all a heartfelt thank you for your support. I love you all! A special thanks to my mom and mom and dad Bradley for caring for the kids while I was building my business.

To my family team — Ray, Keelin and Reice: Thank you for always believing in me and truly understanding how in life, you have to give up to get up. Ray, thanks for being a wonderful Mr. Mom. Keelin and Reice, thank you both for all your encouraging words and notes. This achievement is all of ours. I love you all and I am sure the housekeeping fairy will show up soon. We just need to find that pixie dust!

To the Arbonne Home Office staff: Thank you for your vision and support in providing the tools to allow anyone to be successful in this business.

To the “keeper of the stars:” Thank you for all my blessings, and the opportunities that lie ahead. I am committed to making a difference in this world in all that I do.

After reading this, I hope you give the Consultant who approached you 30 minutes of your time to educate you about this tremendous opportunity. Arbonne is a priceless gift that you should draw up the courage to open, as I did. What are you waiting for?
